We, singers of the Cauriol, belive in popular songs; we think that in the course of time resumed
and handed down those melodies become more and more incisive and unforgettable.
So do we think as for thexts; therefore we hardly include in our "repertoire" author songs,
unless they are the most classic and meaningful.
To make the most for such melodies we prefer a simple, discret harmonisation similar to the
spontaneous choral singing. Only sparingly do we insert special effects, acceptable when they
contribute to the message, that is to restore the originary spirit of musical lines and verses.
We were first inspired by the SAT Chorus.
The Chorus is attracted by certain songs, that are deeply felt, either because they are
solemn as the valleys and the mountains of the "Valle d'Aosta" or because they are as nice and
lively as the peaks in Trentino, or because they are as peaceful and sentimentals as the landscape
of Friuli.
In other words we try to keep the popular content, brought to us by words and notes sprung
from the vein of unknowns artists.
Inevitably our sensibility add new meanings to the basic material: it is our interpretation.
