Summer 1999, between Mount Cauriol Chorus and The School and Educationals Services Department of Genoa Municipality have been agreed a kind of collaboration; the Chorus undertake to keep, without any reward on saturday morning, at the School Institutes of the town a serie of musical meetings to popularize with explanations folk music and songs further the choral singing techniques. All this with the pourpose to get to know new generations to folk singing nowaday ignored, for marketing policies, by mass media
These two years of experience have shown a good interest from the schools and enthusiastic welcome from the students. Here an example of a reply from younger kids.
